The EIS curriculum includes courses in songwriting, audio engineering, record production, entertainment industry entrepreneurship, concert promotion, digital video, and music copyrights & contracts. BS-EIS students are required to complete a comprehensive senior project related to either the audio engineering technology, entertainment industry entrepreneurship, or multimedia technology concentration. Students are also required to complete either a record label practicum with Fighting Okra Records or a live event practicum.
The Multimedia Technology concentration offers classes in digital video and lighting designed to complement audio courses.
