Bachelor of Science in Entertainment Industry Studies – Entertainment Industry Entrepreneurship
The EIS curriculum includes courses in songwriting, audio engineering, record production, entertainment industry entrepreneurship, concert promotion, digital video, and music copyrights & contracts. BS-EIS students are required to complete a comprehensive senior project related to either the audio engineering technology, entertainment industry entrepreneurship, or multimedia technology concentration. Students are also required to complete either a record label practicum with Fighting Okra Records or a live event practicum.
The Entertainment Industry Entrepreneurship concentration is designed for students focusing on the creative and business side of the entertainment industry in areas such as songwriting, concert promotion, record production, and music publishing.
