Facility Reservation

The Center for Community and Economic Development has two rooms available for reservation, a classroom and a conference room. The reservation form can be found by clicking here.
Rules and Regulations

  • Availability must be cleared with the CCED before submitting the reservation form.
  • The reservation form must be completed and returned within five (5) days of the event in order to reserve the facility. There is no guarantee of a reservation until the proper paperwork is received. An invoice will be sent upon the CCED’s receipt of the reservation form and must be paid by the due date. Failure to pay in a timely manner may result in future denial in facility reservation requests and/or late fees.
  • No firearms are allowed.
  • Use of alcohol and tobacco products is prohibited.
  • The visitor is responsible for supplying all equipment and supplies needed for the event (such as technology, food, and utensils), including making arrangements for the delivery and pick-up of those items. Wi-Fi is available.
  • When meetings are scheduled during normal business hours (8:00 AM to 5:00 AM), please be considerate because CCED staff is working.
  • The visitor is responsible for obtaining an exterior key (from Administrative Assistant), locking up the building, and returning the key if the event is held or extends beyond business hours. Events that run past business hours or weekend events must be approved by the Dean of Graduate and Continuing Studies and Research.
  • The building should be left clean and orderly after the event is complete (with the exception of sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming). All garbage should be sacked and placed at the rear door (Do not open the door because the alarm will sound).
  • The visitor is personally responsible and liable for the welfare of the facility. The visitor will be responsible for reimbursing Delta State University for any labor costs or damage costs as a result of such incidents during the event.
  • No parking in the fire lane. No double or triple parking.
  • No general copier and fax services are provided.
  • No tape, tacks, adhesive substances, posters, or signs, are allowed on the walls.
  • Furniture or pictures should not be moved from one room to another without permission
  • Please remain professional while visiting our facilities. Problems or issues with the facility should to be reported immediately the CCED’s Administrative Assistant.
