The Blended Teacher Academy (BTA) is designed for instructors who are teaching blended (or hybrid) courses, as well as for those who are planning to transition their on-ground course to a blended format. The academy is not intended for those developing fully-online courses. BTA will consist of six sequential learning modules which are delivered in 1-hour sessions (30 lecture/30 lab) that can be completed over the course of two weeks. Participants must complete all six sessions, pass a comprehensive exam with 80% or better, and demonstrate competency in the development of a blended Canvas course that exhibits best practices in order to graduate. Those who graduate from BTA will earn a Certificate to be displayed in their tenure portfolios.
Participants in BTA will be part of a cohort. Minimum registration for a BTA Cohort to meet is four.
